Autumn Joy

November is well on its way, yet I can smell winter in the air. Do you ever get that feeling when you look out the window, or come in from the cold? That feeling that change is in the air. We've been blessed with some mild weather these past weeks and the girls and I are taking it all in. We're outside almost everyday with hats and coats. Getting in all the swings and walks and leaf- collecting we can. It's beautiful. Today we went to a craft store to buy some scissors and ended up buying an advent calendar. Rori's new obsession is Baby Jesus. She wants to hold him and give him a hug. How exciting for me, I get to teach her about this amazing child named Jesus!

Avery has started DANCING! Yes! She's got some rhythm too let me just say. I will post video and pics as soon as I can get her show it off for the camera. Enjoy the snapshots of our lives.
"So my mom feeds me beets. What's it to ya? Got a problem?"
My girl.
Here is Rori at her music class playing with "sounds"
Rori's first self-portrait.
Had to post this little picture of our garage mouse. We were going out to play in the front and Rori passed by our recylcle bin and looked inside and said - ugh yuck. I did the same as I passed but had to take a double-take and noticed a MOUSE!! So instead of freaking out and shreeking like I wanted to, I calmly said, oh wow, a mouse, let's try to feed it. So we took it in the middle of our yard and fed it, talked to it and then let it run free. Of course it ran over half the yard, back to its familiar place - our garage. Maybe we'll meet again someday...
